A fuel pump includes a member movable angularly to determine three fuel settings when the pump is used to supply fuel to a supercharged internal combustion engine. The member is moved by a fluid pressure operable means which includes a piston connected to the further member by a pin and a sleeve in which the piston is mounted and which itself is slidable within a cylinder. Fluid under pressure can be admitted to the cylinder by way of a valve, the pressure of fluid depending upon the speed at which the apparatus is driven. A spring is provided to bias the piston and sleeve so that the further member assumes a first position. (54) DEVICE FOR FEEDING FUEL one This invention relates to a motor. structure. A device for supplying fuel to an internal combustion engine is known, comprising a housing, a booster section housed therein, a distributor rotor with injection plungers interacting with a cam washer through rollers with conical ends in contact with cones movable in the axial direction and fixed washers, and a metering device consisting of a throttle regulator of the amount of fuel supplied and an equalizer that includes a ring connected in one axial and coal directions oh with a movable washer and having on the other side end protrusions for connecting with protrusions of a fixed ring stop t11 A disadvantage of this device is the low accuracy of fuel metering, especially when starting the engine. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of dosing. This goal is achieved by the fact that the protrusions of the movable ring and the bushing are made of three paired dimensions in order to establish three restrictions on the supply of fuel, 5 corresponding startup modes, minimum speeds and rated power. The device comprises a housing 1, a booster section 2 arranged therein, a rotor-distributor 3 with injection plungers 4 interacting with a cam washer 5 through rollers 6 with conical ends 7 contacting with cones 8 and 9 movable in the axial direction 1O and stationary 11 washers and a metering device consisting of a throttle regulator 12 of the amount of fuel supplied and a correlator, including a ring 13 moving in the axial and angular directions, connecting with one side with a moving ball and. facing projections 14 on the other side for interacting with projections 15; a fixed annular stop 16. The protrusions 14 of the movable ring 13 and the stop 16 are made in three paired dimensions in order to establish three fuel supply restriction limits corresponding to the starting modes, minimum speed and rated power . The stop 16 is provided with a regulating device for changing its axial position, made in the form of a screw 17 and a worm gear, and the movable ring 13 is equipped with a hydraulic drive. The latter is made in the form of a piston 19 installed in guillot 20, which in turn is located In cylinder 21, one cylinder of cylinder 21 is closed by cover 22, and the other by cover 23. Spring 24 is located between piston 19 and cover 23. Pin 25 is fixed to piston 19 by means of a head 25 G 26, which interacts with a movable ring 13. For supplying fuel to cylinder 21 last soy dinen channel 27 with booster section 2 and through valve 28. In order to improve the operation of the hydraulic drive, HE is equipped with a fuel leakage channel 29, while in the piston 19 there is a ZO notch, in which plug 31 is installed. The device operates as follows. During the rotation of the distributor rotor, the fuel supply magnitude is produced by means of the throttle controller 12. At the time of start-up, the pressure generated by the booster section 2 is small and therefore the hydraulic drive sets the movable ring 13 to the position (Fig. 4) at which rollers 6 and plungers 4 have the most limited outward movement. TfSKoe displacement provides the greatest fuel supply. At minimum engine speeds, the movable ring 13 occupies a new position (Fig. 5), at which its axial displacement becomes the smallest. in turn, reduces the movement of the rollers 6 and the plungers 4 to the outside. The fuel supply is sharply reduced. When the engine is operating at the nominal mode and modes close to the non-movable ring 13 and its protrusions 14 are again reset to:. a position (Fig. 6) in which the magnitude of the restriction of movement of the plungers 4 and the rollers 6 to the outside and accordingly the magnitude of the restriction of the maximum fuel supply occupies an intermediate value between the two indicated values. Swapping the movable ring 1 3 using a hydraulic drive allows you to adjust the maximum fuel supply depending on the engine's operating mode. Thus, the proposed device, by adjusting, improves the accuracy of fuel metering.
